We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for our UK-based partner, a renowned global B2B brand. They are industry leaders, providing a comprehensive digital platform that facilitates in-room, hybrid, and virtual Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for the world's largest corporations and membership organizations. Their proprietary and patented technology enables the digitization of the entire AGM lifecycle within a single, innovative solution.

About the role

The focus of this role will be towards driving continuous integration and software delivery that unifies development and operations teams for faster business results leveraging Azure DevOps. You’ll be responsible for working on complex, major or highly visible tasks supporting .NET/Microsoft technical stack solutions and providing expertise in cloud enablement and automation initiatives. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Create and update sustainable Azure environments 
  • Serve as the first point of supporting live issues with the systems
  • Design and build Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Establish solutions for build, deploy, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows
  • Work directly with Azure DevOps Git repositories; branching, merging and code reversal
  • Develop templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions
  • Design, build, and implement reusable YAML pipelines and configuration

About your profile

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, especially the deployment and management of Azure App Services, Storage, SQL Servers, and Functions
  • Proficency in Azure DevOps; especially Azure Git Repositories, Azure Pipelines, Azure Releases, and Azure Artifacts
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles
  • PowerShell and C#/.NET exposure
  • Demonstratable experience of using Bicep
  • Capable of maintaining and supporting containerised applications 
  • Skilled in delivering and updating infrastructure across multi global Azure instances
