Full Stack Engineer

TechPods is a UK-based technology co-sourcing company based in Bulgaria. We are currently hiring a Full Stack Engineer for our Germany-based cybersecurity partner that protects the real world against digital threats. They offer a certified Security-as-a-Service platform for protecting digital business processes. The product monitor, analyze, and filter malicious internet traffic before virtual attacks can do actual harm. The technological basis is provided by tailor-made system solutions that must work flawlessly, work on continuous optimization, and expand.

About the role:

• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will help us develop technical solutions for complex problems. We are migrating from an old monolithic application into modern-style architecture and solutions.
• Your responsibilities alongside others would include: frontend and backend development.
• Participation in macro and micro architecture designs of new services improving and maintaining supported applications and services. ​- We strongly believe in “you build it, you run it” and “collaboration culture” principles, where you and the team are on the frontlines and driving the change together.

Your responsibilities:

• Work as a part of an international and cross-functional team of software and QA engineers to create and improve solutions focused on our customers' needs
• Design, develop and test solutions to provide our customers with the best possible user experience
• Work towards continuous delivery of our software, optimize ongoing development processes and software solutions through your input and experience,
• Design and implement state-of-the-art code to deliver the best performance of our software to our customers
• Design, and develop unit and e2e tests for implemented features, according to industry best practices and guidelines
• Participate in ideation, discovery, and reviews of solution designs as well as related code

Your qualifications:

• Strong experience in web development with JavaScript-based applications
• Good hands-on experience with ReactJs
• Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL would be beneficial
• Ability and curiosity about new technologies
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and learning aptitude
• Agile methods and structured requirements are nothing new to you, and you like to have it this way
• You speak and write in English fluently
